There isn’t enough radio in the world, so pitch in

The world is full of rich multimedia created by corporations. They overwhelm our senses.

Video killed the radio star. I think it’s mostly narcissistic and pointless. I’m only into music and podcasting because I don’t want to stare at videos anymore.

People will always stereotype you on video. Just speak. This makes your audience judge your IDEAS, not your clothes.

People who make video are fronting. They’re performing, even when interviewed - we know we’re bring judged. I prefer to evade visuals to get your focus placed where I want it - not the screen, but on your own situation in relation to the concepts I am putting forth.

Video takes time up as does audio. That’s why before I post tapes, I take the time to listen to them and type them up. I always come up with extra ideas during this process, as well. But it lets my audience read my ideas in addition to listening, hitting both sides of their brains.

Get your ideas out there. Don’t bother with video to save time and stress. Talking directly into the web is to me way cooler than whatever you’re doing typing or photos or making video. I want to hear you do make some noise!

Praise the PROCESS, not the person! says carol dweck @brainology

Praising talent fixes people and makes them feel stress about matching the high standard every time out, so they don’t take on new things - they stay in their comfort zone.

Instead, praise brilliant strategies and heavy effort. Process values. Not just a successful outcome, or you’re a genius, but more like, “well, that was a genius way to go about it.”

You want people to be flexible next time, not just stick to the behavior that got them praise. Learn from a failure, not think “oh no, my prior praiser will be disappointed! Better cover it up and deny it.”

People monitor what works and what doesn’t with an eye to the future. This is learning and we need to share it.

Mavericks are not being encouraged in school. Confusion is opportunity and not something to fear. You run your brain. It’s a muscle that gets stronger as you stretch it to learn and you need to be self-motivated to grow your brain.

Welcome hard tasks. Confusing projects create new neurons. Be more comfortable with your confusion. This is your brain growing. Teachers and leaders are learning and should be ok coming across as confused so they can help us together move into clarity.

Success leads people to fly big heads. People on top think they can coast: they’re already smart, no need to do anything. This makes people stagnant. Big changes are afoot and you are a novice each time the game changes. Enjoy the struggle and confusion. This is where you can discover how to solve a puzzle that flummoxes everyone.

Get motivated by challenges; and don’t think of yourself as perfect, see yourself as engaged in an exciting struggle and learning new ways to get through it.

Be ASSERTIVE. #WordOfTheDay

Articulate what you want and get the guts to demand it.

Be more ASSERTIVE - not just about politics, either. If people are pushing you around teach them to respect you or they will continue to walk all over you.

Being assertive makes you a force to be reckoned with. I want to coach you to be more blunt about what you demand. What you demand is respect.

If you get the respect you deserve you will change the world and lead.

Unamerican.com is a secret leadership seminar in the guise of a t-shirt line. Visualize a better world and ASSERT your needs in order to make that world happen.

You must disrupt the equilibrium peacefully if anything is to ever change. I don’t pretend to know what needs to change – although I do know what I don’t like, such as SOPA/PIPA! - so that is why I am focusing on empowering you.

Honestly, I don’t care what your causes. If you were tuned into my words, I trust you. It’s as simple as that. So be assertive, because I want the world that you want. And being more assertive is going to change your attitude towards your friends, your tribe, your work or school, and the world.

@parislemon it’s time for the Internet to REALLY kill the TV business. #CutYourCable

MG, thank you for the genius new critique format of going over DC doublespeak line by line. http://pandodaily.com/2012/01/18/assclowns/

That’s some effective activism. the mental control of TV extends to those who have cut the umbilical cord too, with this SOPA madness.

@rudytheelder could 2way time travel of info exist?

Hi Rudy!

Been studying WWII on Quora and “the existence of info from the future” - it’s an Occam’s Razor thing …

Any ideas?

[Flash 9 is required to listen to audio.]

I need new ideas!

Direct my mind. What should I think about?

My direct subconscious is what is creating these posts. I’m handing you the keys.

Baby Boomers are pushing this country in the wrong direction.

In the hunt for new ideas I depend on you for source material. I’m channelling your ideas so send them to me!

What evidence should I expose to shore up these arguments? Or are things better than they seem?

How do you FEEL about news propaganda guiding our country, its economy, its culture? Let’s start a conversation and BE the news from here on out.

Let yourselves be heard!

the cure - primary (live in Hollywood last YEAR, not last NIGHT)

A piece of rock and roll history. No need to annoyingly hold up your iPhone to videotape when audio is what you really want to capture. So much more chill. Turn brightness down and nobody will even notice!

A forest by @thecure_ (live from gig last night)

I like to tape bands live and post it. Sorry if that pisses off any industries. Just a fan trying to help other fans connect with their favorite bands. Screw SOPA!!!!

how to motivate yourself to accomplish anything

What have you ever done that you’d love to do again? You can get that motivation back, an the more you do, the happier you’ll be and the more you’ll get done.

See every tiny action to be a different and new way you can ROCK.

We tend to do things that are:
1) gainful
2) fun
3) right

And we tend to avoid doing things leading to:
1) loss
2) pain
3) wrong

Use these axes to configure motivational triggers for yourself. Determine a goal and frame each task on these three dimensions. Increase your drive with these questions of how you can gain, how it might be fun, how it’s just the right thing to do. Or how you might lose, experience pain or allow wrongness into the world if you slack.

Our T-shirts unleash situations for you.

The consumption of products is not without emotion. People buy from the heart when they live in capitalism.

Everything that people purchase has a strong element of identity to it. When you give a gift to somebody else, you are giving them a bit of identity.

We don’t so much shop as augment our identity with the psychological cloaking of products, weaving together a tapestry of who we are through our consumption.

No product can absolutely promise it will meet your needs. Products can just imply that and make you visualize yourself owning and deploying that product to meet your personal goals within your own personal context.

I want to encourage you to strive towards achievement, because I trust you. After all, you’re the very reason I communicate. I wouldn’t broadcast if I didn’t have a chance of reaching you.

So, what do you want to buy? I encourage you to buy things that help you achieve. I believe that is going to be the core concern of this website as I improve it over time. Stay tuned!

One nation, INDIVISIBLE.

the GOP race is playing up divisions among us. They’ve always been aristocrats and I’m disgusted with this aristocracy lovefest called the GOP primaries.

Democrats at least seem to try to address all people. Repugnicans only address their own so-called elite. Everything they say is soaking in elitism and divisiveness.

One nation, indivisible is not negotiable. It’s a PROMISE; we all MEMORIZED IT. divide the united states and you are its enemy. Cultural spectrum can be provocative but politics must unite us.

Issues that address all of us are missing entirely from a GOP debate framed by loons from the tea party. Is this supposed to be hilarious ? I’m not into this joke.
